Infrastructure Requirements

Introduction

BotReady is a platform that can be installed in On-Premises, Cloud or Hybrid environments. The components of BotReady's architecture are implemented according to the following physical distribution: Application Server

  • Web Application
  • Private REST API
  • Public REST API
  • Notification Agent Database Server
  • BotReady's Database BotReady Agent's Server
  • BotReady Agent This document describes the hardware and software requirements for each of the above-mentioned servers.

Application Server

Hardware Requirements

  • RAM: 8GB
  • HDD: 40 free GB
  • CPU: 2 Cores (2 GHz min)

Software Requirements

  • Windows Server 2012R2 or higher
  • IIS 8.5 or higher
  • .NET Framework 4.5.2 or higher

Note: Windows Server is required only for On-Premises setups.

Database Server

Hardware Requirements

  • RAM: 8GB
  • HDD: 120 free GB
  • CPU: 2 Cores (2 GHz min)

Software Requirements

  • Windows Server 2012R2 or higher
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or higher

Note: Windows Server is required only for On-Premises setups.

BotReady Agent's Server

Hardware Requirements

  • RAM: 4GB
  • HDD: 10 free GB
  • CPU: 2 Cores (2 GHz min)

Software Requirements

  • Windows Server 2012R2 or higher
  • .NET Framework 4.5.2 or higher

Note: Windows Server is required only for On-Premises setups. In the case of a Cloud setup, the BotReady Agent is configured as a WebJob in Azure.
